Though I have not read both books they were recommended by Paul Craig Roberts. I especially like the title of the second book because it draws attention to the fact that economic activity doesn't operate in a vacuum but has serious consequences for the distribution of power.

Ravi Batra's The Myth of Free Trade is useful protectionist boilerplate. Pat Buchanan used his arguments in one of his presidential campaigns. I'm far from agreeing with everything Batra says, but his arguments serve as a pointed countermeasure to neoliberalism.
